Communicating in High School
Communicating in high school can be hard for some teenagers. Like I stated in my previous blog it can be easier for some students than others because they can be anti-social or shy. Also it can be hard for some students or teenagers to communicate if they don't have many friends. I think communication is important in high school because there are a lot of things that should be said to avoid misunderstandings with other peers, teachers, or even at home with their parents. I believe that a lot of the drama that happens in high school is either because of too much communication, meaning people talking more than they're suppose to or people not talking enough. I also believe that many teachers need a better way of communicating with their high school students so that they can get a better understanding of what they are trying to get passed them.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you Gabriela Uriarte, many teachers do not know how to communicate. I've had a teacher in the past years be in a bad mood because she had problems at home and she would take it out on the students. She was away in a bad mood and it wasn't a good way to learn a class.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with the concept of your post about communicating. There is a such thing as too much talking and also not enough talking. Being shy in high school can deprive you from soo many experiences.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you gabby. Its hard to communicate with when things are being misunderstood. Also if you don't communicate with people its throws you away from new experiences, and adventures.
ReplyDeleteGabby, you make a lot of valid points, but I was a little confused by your last statement regarding teachers and communicating. I wasn't sure if you meant that if teachers understand their students then they can catch when a student is trying to do something sneaky or if that if a teacher doesn't communicate well enough so that it affects students. I mean the student can't pass a class because of the lack of communication from the teacher regarding coursework. Help me understand what you meant by the last sentence....
ReplyDeleteI agree with you because their are teachers that don't know how to communicate properly and get misunderstood often. Being able to communicating is also very important through out our lives.
