Friendships at Workplace
I think it is good to be friends with your co-workers. I think its good because it makes work more interesting and a happier place to be. Although I do not think it is good to make one of your co-workers your boyfriend or girlfriend. It would be an awkward and uncomfortable situation for your co-workers and yourself if something bad were to happen. Sometimes it is bad to have too many friends at work because then you can get distracted talking too much or messing around. Sometimes the reasons for getting the job in the first place was because of your friend but you should mostly keep it professional. You certainly do not have to be friends with your co-workers but being friendly is okay.

I totally agree with you Gaby. I think working with a boyfriend or girlfriend can become uncomfortable or awkward at one point if a fight would happen. But I do not agree with you on having too many friends at work. Yes you can get distracted but if you are professional and focus they shouldn't be a problem.
ReplyDeleteI agree that you shouldn't date a co-worker because it looks awkward. Just talk to them during the free time you get at work.

ReplyDeleteGaby, I partially agree with you. I feel that it is always good to work with friends because you will feel comfortable in that environment. I feel that it is not a problem to have a boyfriend or girlfriend at work, but as long as you keep your problems at home.
